The first update is for polls. WhatsApp is introducing three new features that will help groups gather info and make decisions together.

The first feature is the option for poll creators to allow people to vote only once, which is perfect for when you need a definitive answer.

The second feature is the ability to search for polls in your chats. It’s not always possible to answer a poll immediately, and it can be difficult to find a poll within the chat at a later time. With this new feature, users can filter messages by polls, just like they can for photos, videos or links.

Finally, WhatsApp will now send notifications when people vote on your polls, and you can see how many people have voted in total, so you can easily keep up to date on responses.

The second update is for forwarding media with captions. Sharing photos on WhatsApp is one of the easiest ways of keeping friends and family updated on your life, and the ability to forward media means you can quickly reshare images from one group of connections to another. However, sometimes you might not have time to add context before someone responds.

With this new update, you can now add a caption to photos and videos when you forward them. You also have the option to keep, delete or completely rewrite captions, giving you the flexibility to add extra information when sharing photos between chats.

The third and final update is the ability to add captions to documents when sharing them. Whether you’re sending a newspaper article or a work document, now you have the option to add a caption before sharing. This makes it easier to explain what the document is about, and adds context to the conversation.

These three new updates are designed to make chats more productive and fun. They will improve the app’s functionality and usability, making it easier for groups to communicate and make decisions together.
