These new packages prioritize delivering high-speed internet access across the country, reflecting MTN’s dedication to fostering connectivity and progress in various sectors.

The refreshed WakaNet lineup offers attractive value for customers. The “WakaNet Router” package, priced at UGX 130,000 (approximately USD 35), includes a free router and provides users with a solid 10Mbps internet connection for 30 days. Similarly priced at UGX 130,000, the “WakaNet Fiber” option guarantees reliable internet with 10Mbps speeds for a month.
For users with more demanding internet requirements, MTN introduces the “Prestige Fiber” package. This premium offering caters to businesses, remote workers, and entertainment enthusiasts by delivering lightning-fast 60Mbps speeds on WakaNet Fiber for 30 days at UGX 395,000 (approximately USD 107). This investment in high-speed internet allows users to stay connected and maintain productivity without limitations. From the table below, there has been an increase in pricing, reduction in volume, and removal of bundles when compared to the service when it first launched in August 2021.
