On Monday last week, Itel Mobile launched the P32 with Android Oreo Go Edition phone in Uganda. This was its second product for the year following the A32F. The handset is now the third Android Go smartphone in the country after the Infinix Hot 6 and the Tecno Spark 2. After comparing the Hot 6 double, it is now Infinix Hot 6 Vs Tecno Spark 2 Vs Itel P32, the Android Go Battle in Uganda is on.
These entry-level smartphones promise to deliver the best and latest Android software which is designed to run smoothly on phones low on memory and storage.
Android Go is essentially Google’s attempt to make entry-level smartphones more palatable to the audience. Google optimized Android Oreo to work on devices that have 1GB of RAM or lower. It consumes less power and runs its own set of core Google apps such as Google Go, YouTube Go and Gmail Go, to name a few.
The three handsets launched so far will be competing against each other in the entry-level market. 3 options in the market with Android Go means it is time to analyze which of these equipment may be the most convenient for you.

Feature Showdown
Screen
The screen is an important element in any smartphone, and one of the main things that lead users into buying a phone. Well, in the case of the P32 has the smallest screen of the three coming in at 5.5 inches. This can be good if you want a small and comfortable equipment in the pocket. However, if you are looking for something better for multimedia playback Tecno Spark 2 and the Infinix Hot 6 have much larger screen. The Hot 6’s great sound quality gives it an added advantage in multimedia consumption.
Cameras
Another very important point when buying a smartphone is the camera. But hey, we must mention that low-end devices have never been a reference in photography. Therefore, we cannot expect the best iPhone X photo quality here. Nevertheless, all 3 companies worked to offer good results to users.
Here, the Tecno Spark 2 has the most complete camera departments of the 3 smartphones in question. Its bright camera photography capabilities put it ahead of the Hot 6 and the P32. However, the Hot 6 takes equally good photos with its 13MP rear camera. The P32 looks to have an edge in rear portrait photos since it possesses a dual camera setup.
We can say that in environments with good lighting the pictures with the 3 teams will be decent. However, in general the Spark 2 is the team that will perform best.
Battery
The Spark 2 has 3,500mAh while the Infinix Hot 6 and Itel P32 have 4,000mAh batteries. Although the Hot 6 and P32 share similar battery capacity, the P32 has been hailed the best big battery smartphone in Africa by Android Authority. This might be because it has a slightly smaller screen than the Hot 6.
The Spark 2’s battery may look dwarfed by the huge power houses of the other two devices but the difference will not be so great in the day-to-day. But all factors kept constant, the P32 wins the battery race of the 3 devices.
Prices
The Itel P32 is the most economical of the three options presented to you. Its even cheaper than some of the devices on our June list. The Spark 2 follows and after the Infinix Hot 6. However, the latter is the most complete smartphone with respect to technical specifications. So who wins the Infinix Hot 6 Vs Tecno Spark 2 Vs Itel P32 Android Go battle?
