It comes a few days after the UCC directive of having unregistered simcards switched off for not abiding to the directive, a move that many telecoms effected without fail.

However, this time around customers won’t be switched off as the promo is targeted at new MTN subscribers and entails one to buy a new Simcard from any MTN shop for UGX 2000, after which it is verified using one’s National ID Details. Submitting these tantamounts  to not getting switched off from big yellows network.
