This campaign, running until December 2024, is designed to cater to both residential users and small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) looking for reliable connectivity without breaking the bank.

Under this new pricing structure, BCC offers various packages: 50Mbps for UGX 110,000, 75Mbps for UGX 150,000, and 100Mbps for UGX 200,000. These options are tailored to meet the increasing demand for quality internet services in Uganda, particularly as more people rely on stable connections for work, education, gaming, and entertainment.

Ali Kisekka, Head of SME & Home Sales at BCC, highlighted the advantages of the campaign: “With the Switch to BCC campaign, we’re offering customers a unique opportunity to experience faster internet at lower prices, ensuring that both home users and businesses can enjoy seamless connectivity that enhances productivity.”

He noted that larger packages are now available at reduced rates, allowing customers to maximize their internet experience while minimizing costs.

The initiative responds directly to Uganda’s pressing need for affordable high-speed internet.

Data from the Uganda Communications Commission indicates a significant surge in internet subscriptions, with an increase of 1.2 million users in the quarter ending March 2023 alone. This brings the total number of subscriptions to 27 million, underscoring the growing reliance on digital connectivity.

Kisekka emphasized BCC’s commitment to innovation and its role in bolstering the local economy through enhanced connectivity. He urged potential customers to consider BCC not just for its competitive pricing but also for its superior customer service and technical support.

“With a focus on quality, accessibility, and customer satisfaction, BCC is dedicated to transforming the digital experience for individuals and businesses,” he stated.

Beyond internet services, BCC offers a comprehensive suite of tech solutions including security and surveillance systems, ICT services, power solutions, renewable infrastructure, and smart TV options. Kisekka explained that these diverse offerings are part of BCC’s mission to support Uganda’s evolving digital landscape.
