Reverse EPG: This innovative feature allows subscribers to rewind live TV up to 24 hours on select channels. Whether you missed a crucial goal in a football match or the latest breaking news, you can now catch up by scrolling back to the exact moment you left off. Channels like SuperSport Football, ESPN, and international news networks such as CNN International and BBC World are included in this feature.

Cloud PVR Recordings: With this addition, viewers can record live content to watch later at their leisure. These recordings are stored in the cloud for up to 30 days under the “My Stuff” section, providing flexibility and convenience to watch programs on your own schedule. The rollout of these features began this month and will gradually become available across all supported platforms including iOS, Android, and through dstv.stream. Users are advised to ensure auto-updates are enabled on their devices to receive the update automatically, or they can manually update the app to enjoy these new capabilities.

DStv’s commitment to improving user interaction is evident in its new interface design which emphasizes ease of use and content discovery. The platform now employs personalized recommendations, trailers, and previews to help users find content that matches their interests more efficiently. “This update is about giving control back to our viewers,” said a DStv spokesperson. “We understand the importance of flexibility in today’s fast-paced world, and with Reverse EPG and Cloud PVR, we’re ensuring our subscribers never miss out on the content they love.”

As streaming services continue to evolve, DStv Stream’s latest enhancements reflect a broader industry trend towards more personalized, user-centric viewing experiences. Subscribers are encouraged to update their DStv Stream apps to explore these new features, redefining how they interact with live and on-demand content.
