The folding pocket projector

The folding pocket projector

The Aurzen Zip is ingeniously designed to slip into your pocket without a hitch, effortlessly snapping onto MagSafe stands, and versatile enough to switch between portrait and landscape modes. However, there’s a catch – its slim profile means it can’t accommodate full HDMI or USB-C video; instead, it relies on wireless screen mirroring from your phone.

Don’t anticipate a dazzlingly bright display; with a maximum output of 100 lumens (or a more modest 60 lumens to stretch the battery life to 90 minutes), you’re looking at a screen that’s more intimate than expansive. Priced at $400, this innovative projector is slated for release in March.

Using Saliva and your Smartphone to balance your hormones

If you’ve been keeping an eye on your health, you’ve likely noticed your social media feeds brimming with content from wellness gurus touting hormone balancing as the ultimate secret for effortless weight loss, stress reduction, and even alleviating symptoms of hormonal imbalances like polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS). It’s no wonder, then, that Eli Health has unveiled the Hormometer, a groundbreaking at-home hormone-testing kit that turns your saliva into data and your smartphone into a diagnostic tool.

Using Saliva and your Smartphone to test your hormones

Much like other home testing kits, Hormometer involves collecting a bodily fluid – here, it’s saliva. The process is straightforward: you insert a slender cartridge into your mouth for just a minute, reminiscent of those familiar pregnancy test sticks, featuring a little window for result display. After collection, your smartphone camera comes into play, with the Eli app analyzing the saliva sample for details like color depth and pattern formation. Based on this analysis, the app will then deliver personalized insights and advice, covering everything from managing stress and optimizing sleep to enhancing athletic performance and managing fertility.

Samsung Smart TV LineUp

Samsung is rolling out a new TV lineup at CES 2025 in Las Vegas that could stir up some debate among consumers. They’re expanding the use of their matte, glare-free display technology, which first appeared on the S95D OLED last year, to additional models, including their flagship Mini LED TVs. This move is being showcased at Samsung’s annual First Look event, where the company unveils its cutting-edge television innovations.

The spotlight this year is on the S95F QD-OLED, which boasts an impressive leap in brightness, potentially hitting up to 4,000 nits thanks to a new Samsung Display panel. This model also features an enhanced glare-free coating designed to minimize reflections from various light sources like overhead lights, floor lamps, or even direct sunlight. Additionally, mirroring the capabilities of LG’s latest high-end 2025 OLEDs, the S95F supports a peak refresh rate of 165Hz, much to the delight of PC gamers seeking smooth gameplay.

Samsung Smart TV LineUp CES 2025

Samsung’s The Frame has long been a hit since its debut, captivating consumers with its dual role as both a high-quality TV and a piece of home decor that displays art when turned off. Despite countless imitators, no one has quite matched Samsung’s execution. Now, to keep its lead, Samsung introduces The Frame Pro. While The Frame was already a design icon, its performance as a TV was somewhat lackluster, often described as just adequate.

With The Frame Pro, Samsung aims to elevate its game beyond just aesthetics. Previously, the allure of The Frame was its ability to blend into and enhance any living space, with its art-display features being the main draw. However, the TV’s performance in terms of brightness and picture quality was only satisfactory. The Frame Pro seeks to change this narrative by not only maintaining its artful design but also pushing the boundaries in television technology, offering viewers a more vibrant and engaging visual experience.

L’Oréal is taking a bold step forward in simplifying skincare routines with its latest innovation showcased at CES 2025. Introducing the Cell BioPrint, this new device is engineered to decode the complexities of your skin, offering tailored recommendations to combat aging signs.

Developed in collaboration with NanoEntek, a South Korean startup renowned for its biofluid-reading chip technology, the Cell BioPrint operates through a unique AI method. Users start by applying a special facial tape strip to their cheek, which is then placed into a buffer solution. This solution is subsequently loaded into a cartridge for analysis by the Cell BioPrint. After processing the sample, the gadget captures images of your face while you respond to a brief questionnaire regarding your skin concerns and aging process. This comprehensive approach promises to deliver not just insights but actionable, personalized skincare advice.
